Gunmen from the Lakurawa terrorist group have struck again, this time in Natsini village in Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi State. The brutal attack resulted in the tragic deaths of two policemen and the rustling of over 200 cows. This heinous incident took place late on Thursday night, around 11 pm, when the armed terrorists, numbering over 50 and riding motorcycles, ambushed the unsuspecting officers at a checkpoint along the Augie/Kangiwa road.

Eyewitnesses in Natsini village recounted the harrowing events of that fateful night. Abubakar Augie, a local resident, shared a chilling account of the ruthless attack. He mentioned that the targeted cows belonged to Lawali Black, a well-known civil servant in the area. Augie described how the Lakurawa militants swiftly overpowered the outnumbered policemen before making off with the valuable livestock from Black’s ranch.
