Governors from North West states met to chat about the region’s issues, like insecurity and too much drug use. Dr. Umar Dikko Radda, the Governor of Katsina State and the big boss of the Northwest Governors’ Forum, spilled the beans to reporters after the early Saturday pow-wow. The states agreed to team up and tackle all the problems discussed.
“We just finished our meeting and it was super productive. We talked for a long time about the challenges plaguing our region and got presentations from the Northwest Development Commission and the Federal Medical University Funtua for the region. Oh, and we also chatted about drug abuse and how to stop people from going nuts with drugs in the region. We all pinky swore to work together on these issues to bring the development our region needs,” he blabbered.
Before that, the host Governor, Senator Uba Sani of Kaduna State, yapped about how the governors were joining forces to deal with the region’s issues. They’re tight with development partners to figure out solutions to problems like poverty, unemployment, and other stuff to bring development to the region.
