Abbas Leads Discussion on Food Security at 22nd Daily Trust Dialogue
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, is set to lead a crucial discussion on food security at the 22nd Daily Trust Dialogue in Abuja. This event, with the theme “Food Security: Availability or Affordability,” aims to address the major challenges hindering mass production, processing, and distribution of food in Nigeria.
Maiha, Nzamujo, and Other Experts to Share Insights
Renowned personalities such as Rev. Fr. Godfrey Nzamujo, the founder and Director General of Songhai Farms in Benin Republic, will play a significant role in this year’s Dialogue. Nzamujo, known for his excellence in agricultural production, will chair the event and share his experiences in various agricultural value chains.
Joining him are three expert guest speakers who will delve into the steps Nigeria must take to combat hunger in the country. Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha, the Minister of Livestock Development, brings his expertise in managing large-scale poultry and dairy farms to the discussion. Ms. Mira Mehta, CEO of Tomato Jos, and Architect Kabir Ibrahim, National President of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria, will also provide valuable insights.

The 22nd Daily Trust Dialogue is expected to draw a crowd of dignitaries, including The Farmer Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari.
