Kano State Governor Urges New Appointees to Meet People’s Expectations

Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has urged the newly appointed commissioners, special advisers, and permanent secretaries to work together as a team to meet the expectations of the people of Kano State. The governor made this call after assigning portfolios to the seven new commissioners, 13 special advisers, and six permanent secretaries at the ante chamber, Kano Government House, on Monday.

The former Chief of Staff to the Governor, Shehu Wada Sagagi, has been assigned as Commissioner for Investment Commerce and Industries, Dr. Ismail Aliyu Danmaraya as Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Shehu Sani as Commissioner for Power Sustainable Energy, Dr. Dahiru Hashim as Commissioner for Kano State Ministry for Environment and Climate Change, Abdulkadir Abdulsalam as Commissioner for Rural Development, Ibrahim Abdullahi Wayya as Commissioner for Information, and Wada Ma’aji as Commissioner for Public Procurement.
