ACHAD Life Mission International Sect Implicated in Human Trafficking
A disturbing development has emerged in North West Nigeria, where a newly established sect called “ACHAD Life Mission International” has been linked to human trafficking and child separation activities. The sect, led by an individual known only as “Mr. Yokana” residing in Jos, Plateau State, has its headquarters in Kaduna, according to the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).

The Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General of NIS, CIS A.A. Aridegbe, issued a circular on January 14, 2025, notifying Immigration officers of the emergence of this concerning sect. The circular, titled “Emergence of a new sect known as ACHAD Life Mission International,” was distributed to all directorates, zones, training institutions, and commands.
An immigration source, speaking on condition of anonymity, confirmed the credibility of the intelligence gathered about ACHAD members’ involvement in illicit activities. The source revealed that the sect promotes neither Islam nor Christianity but advocates for the restoration of African traditions and support for humanity.

The circular issued by the NIS urged officers to remain vigilant and report any signs of the sect’s presence promptly.
